Case Study -Thornhill Square

This West London home underwent a deep retrofit, stripping the building back to reveal its original proportions and period detailing. The client wanted to preserve the integrity of the room while introducing a contemporary island - simple, stylish, and distinctly modern in contrast to the heritage features.

This kitchen that balances past and present. Tall cabinetry lines the wall with quiet authority, finished in dark textured fronts that frame a luminous marble splashback. At its centre, a free-standing Buster + Punch island introduces a sculptural modern element, opening the space for movement and light.

The interplay between the island and fitted units creates rhythm and proportion, while subtle hardware and refined details keep the focus on materiality and flow. This is a kitchen where heritage detail meets contemporary design - proof that B+P can live anywhere.
